The customer in view

Finally live again with direct personal contact. In the course of the two-day Sales Specialist Meeting in Kempten, the partners of the European Food Network met with representatives of the German DACHSER branches for an intensive exchange of ideas and to deal with food logistics trends and current developments in the food market in presentations and personal discussions during a workshop. In particular, the topics of sustainability, digitalization and securing the supply chain were the focus of the intensive discussions.

It is not only the logistics industry that is currently facing major challenges. The focus of the change processes is on transformation. Digitalization processes must be driven forward just as much as the reduction of CO2 emissions with the goal of becoming climate-neutral. Many companies in the food industry are also currently concerned that there will be greater risks within supply chains. In order to counteract these scenarios in particular, new concepts and solutions were developed and discussed in detail during the two-day Sales Specialist meeting, which above all help to continuously optimize the supply chain. No easy task. But the concentrated know-how of 12 food logistics specialists and the continuously maintained knowledge transfer of the partners organized within the European Food Network form the perfect basis for initiating improvement processes. With the aim of offering customers even safer and more efficient food logistics all over Europe.
