Generation and management change at the Heidelmann Group

Ute Bischoff and Volker Bischoff are stepping down as Managing Directors of Heidelmann Kühllogistik GmbH, Spedition Heidelmann GmbH and Technik Center Schwalmstadt GmbH on December 31, 2023 after more than 30 years of management activity, but will continue to support the companies in an advisory capacity even after their retirement from active day-to-day business. 

In their more than 40-year career and under their responsibility, the family business has developed from a small haulage and warehousing company into an integrated logistics service provider with a focus on temperature-controlled food logistics, pharmaceutical logistics and contract logistics, and has established itself on the market. Ute and Volker Bischoff are handing over an impressive life's work into the hands of the 4th generation. Ute Bischoff remains 100% shareholder of the group of companies. 

In addition to Till Bischoff, who has been Managing Director of Heidelmann Kühllogistik GmbH and Spedition Heidelmann GmbH since August 2018, the long-standing authorized signatory Sven Vollmann was appointed Managing Director of Heidelmann Kühllogistik GmbH and Spedition Heidelmann GmbH as of 01/01/2024. In addition, Till Bischoff was appointed sole Managing Director of Technik Center Schwalmstadt GmbH as of 01/01/2024. 

Till Bischoff completed his training as a forwarding agent from August 2003 to January 2006 at the Langenhagen branch of long-standing network partner DACHSER and then went on to study business administration with a focus on logistics and innovation management at the Philipps University in Marburg, which he completed in September 2010 with a degree in business administration. He then joined the family business, where Till Bischoff took over the sales management until his move to the management board and was able to successfully implement many customer and construction projects during this time. 

Sven Vollmann began his training as a forwarding agent at Spedition Heidelmann GmbH on 01.08.1997. Since joining the company, Sven Vollmann has worked with passion and great commitment in various departments and management positions at Heidelmann, including forwarding manager. Sven Vollmann was granted power of attorney on 27.06.2002 and has made a significant contribution to the development and growth of the company to its current size by implementing and supporting many new and major projects. 

In addition to the authorized signatory and commercial director Matthias Steuble, who will continue to be a direct member of the management team in the future and who has also played a major role in the positive development of the Heidelmann companies, Christian Bischoff (Head of Technology and Quality Management) and Janina Bischoff (Head of Human Resources) will each be granted joint power of attorney at Spedition Heidelmann GmbH and Heidelmann Kühllogistik GmbH with effect from 01/01/2024.

The previous and new management and the Bischoff families would also like to take this opportunity to thank all employees, without whom such a development would not have been possible over the past 77 years.
